The rooftop solar systems from 1 kWp upto 2000 kWp or in combination can be set up.
However as per rooftop solar PV regulations, the maximum capacity shall not exceed
100% of the sanctioned connected load/contract demand of the consumer.
Roof area depends on system capacity, panel type and shadow-free space.
Approx 80-100 sq.ft per 1 kW rooftop plant (depending on panel efficiency).
Subsidy depends on Government policies and approved schemes.

Compensation is provided via net-metering / gross-metering policy
as per Discom regulations. Excess units are adjusted in billing cycle.
